Return policy for food products and pre-orders

Right of Withdrawal (14 days)

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods.

How to give notice of withdrawal

  • 1.Use our online cancellation function ("Cancel order"), accessible in the footer, near checkout and in the order confirmation email. This is the primary and recommended method.
  • 2.Complete and submit the model withdrawal form provided below.
  • 3.Send a free-form notice of withdrawal to tea@minikauppa.fi. Any unequivocal statement of your decision to withdraw is sufficient.

Cost of returning the goods

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Return postage is not refunded, except where the goods are defective, damaged or were sent in error.

Refund

We will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earlier.

Tea and other foodstuffs, food-safety condition

Sealed, unopened tea may be returned within the 14-day withdrawal period. Once the seal or packaging has been broken, however, the product cannot be returned for food-safety and hygiene reasons. This restriction is product-based and does not exclude tea as a whole from the right of withdrawal.

Wooden Ring and other non-food items

The handcrafted Wooden Ring is not a food product, so no food-safety exemption applies. The full 14-day right of withdrawal applies in all cases. Return the ring in resaleable condition and we will refund the purchase price together with the cost of standard delivery.
